I’m a writer, editor, content strategist, reader, and word nerd. After more than 15 years on the Content Team at WE Communications (previously named Waggener Edstrom), I’ve started my own content strategy business. While at WE I did writing, editing, and content strategy for a range of agency clients, agency new-business and marketing efforts, and pro bono projects. Favorite projects included ongoing content writing and development for the Microsoft Military Affairs team, onsite trade show reporting and writing for the Microsoft Internet of Things (IoT) Blog, and speechwriting and thought leadership work with Target Healthcare.
Before joining WE I did editing and indexing for freelance clients in book and magazine publishing. I have an M.A. in English Literature and Composition from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a B.A. in English from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
In my free time I enjoy knitting, cooking, trivia, and running. You may remember me from “Jeopardy!” as a two-time champion; my episodes aired in January 2012.
